Smiles in press room at this first mini-ruck between Darling and Osborne over whether taxes should go up and down. Now Cable joins in and gets first laughFormer MSE team member0

If they argue too much I might just change channels.0

Ouch - Osbornes rather high-and-mighty 'you won't have heard of him' got a big Oooh in the gallery here. Was that a missed jab in the punch-up?Former MSE team member0

I think George is having to hold his own as he came into this the under dog a bit and its been said that Darling would go for him which he has as he looks for a sucker punch but Vince is doing well and very relaxed.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

Real silence across everyone viewing now - they are edging into the meat of the matter now I think. Good hosting too I think, he is engaging them into having to give real answersFormer MSE team member0

George Osborne reminds me of Tony Blair. I think the Lib Dems will get more votes with this. Vince Cabel is not talking financial speak. Just straight common-sense words.Just because I disagree with you, doesn't mean I hate you. We need to understand this as a Society

Watch out public servants - the three are now sort of agreeing that there will be pension cuts for public sector workers. Slowly talking down from 'highly paid' people having to face cuts, to a wider range of people. Hope this doesn't apply to entry level nurses, teachers, police etcFormer MSE team member0
