Balance transfer question

Hi Guys,

Can you please give me your thoughts on the following?

I used to have a very large debt on numerous credit cards. Luckily I managed to pay them off and now only have £5k debt (split between Egg and Barclaycard). The Barclaycard 0% deal came to an end so I transferred it to M&S &More card. I still have £2.5k on my Egg card and need to get it off as I am paying full whack on the interest.

Barclaycard offered me a 6% interest deal when I attempted to cancel and I am unsure whether to take it. In the past I only went with 0% deals but now Im wondering if I will qualify for many cards now seeing as how I worked my way through them a year ago.

Does anyone know if the CC companies allow you to qualify for 0% deals if you have been a customer before (I closed the cards down as the 0% came to an end)? Or in your opinion would I be better going with the Bcard life of balance deal?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Having 'worked your way through them' does not disqualify from re-applying. I have in the past re-applied for. Halifax, Capital one, Barclaycard, Lloyds/tsb and others mostly after 6 months but cap1 after 1 month. I have been successful with them all. Having said that the tide seems to be changing with many credit card companies. Good luck if you decide to re-apply,
