You typed the words right out of my head curly girl (though I'm veggie so it's minus the chicken and replace the wine with a couple of bottles of beer for me!)

But today I gave those pesky supermarkets a big swerve! I hope you've now polished of the wine and the chocolate mousse - no point letting go to waste now it's by your side :D!

My sentiments exactly, nicca, if the wine and chocolate mousse have made an effort to jump into your basket and come home with you, it would be very rude not to polish them off:rotfl:

rachelmk: :(oh dear, but at least it was only a little spend

Didn't manage an NSD yesterday as had to have a coffee and muffin for medicinal purposes, even the aliens didn't complain. Won't have one to-day as have to pick up doggie treats and biccies as will be near the most megacheap shop in the world for this. Thanks for all the good wishes, back feels a bit better and I',m afraid I do look like a goblin but have managed to stop the groaning, people were looking, fancy???

I am hoping today is another NSD, as I don't need to buy anything - have taken a little change out of my pot to buy a drink with if my water runs out...as there's nowhere to refill it round here - so it doesn't count as it's money I didn't spend anyway and will only be about 50p tops :)
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.

....you have got to see....waders but in a brown camoflage type pattern (a bit more flash than black BMF!) Definitely! thumbsup.gif

    and the best thing.....

    the blurb says this.....

    • Revolutionary, soft touch, silent outer shell :)Good-good..don't want to miss the words to Agadoo. Wouldn't be right to shove my coffee when I'm supposed to grind the pineapple...
    • Unique thermal construction for extra warmth  Can get chilly around the Gorbols I hear, speshlly around kicking-out time..
    • Removable braces :D:jquick-change so I can't be identified in a line-up!
    • Adjustable velcro gusset:eek: Just had a thought, if they are waterproof waders why would you want a hole in the gusset? I'm keeping shtoom, or I shall be asked to leave :silenced: Surely that defeats the object of being waterproof, I mean, a hole lets in water doesn't it? Or am I really missing the point here....Thinka-bow-tit! Leotards? Swim cossies? Cat-suits? The queue for the Ladies is always killer, without wrestling with your wardrobe choice once you do reach the throne!

Perhaps it's being a female of a certain age & especially after several childbirths, that waterproof anything seems more of an advantage, shall I say  The bit that really tickled me, was it's a 'silent outer shell' but there's nothing noisier than opening velcro :rotfl:Can you imagine the startled fisher-folk, when the peace of the river-bank is shattered by that sssshhhrrrrrrrrriiiiickk & they turn to see you ferreting around yer nether regions laughing-smiley-004.gif

I only found out a couple of months ago, that it apparently Law that places HAVE to give you free water fit for human consumption, upon request! I'd guess that's places that serve refreshment of some sort, but ought to see if I can find the official wording :o Me muvva has to take tablets & it's ridiculous to have to pay two quid for 500ml of water just to do so  particularly as we're eating there too. To be fair, there's only two places that have said they don't have "suitable" water inquisitive.gifso she just waited for her cuppa to cool a bit.

Apping Bipdee BDINI _party_ --hope the coming year brings you more Happiness than you could possibly know what to do with :T SIZE=1]Anyone else tempted to rename our pal Bindy? I'm always wanting to put that..[/SIZE

Stocking up on feeding the family yesterday so a SD for me. Pup was playing last night & knocked my empty cup off a side table & it broke in spectacular fashion :o It was one of those smoked glass mugs & an exact replacement for the one that had dropped about 10 yrs ago, so a really good investment of under 50p. I do/did like my cuppa from them but have a cupboard full of others so--do I buy another duplicate, or be really mse & use what's already here? I'm managing today with the delicate bone china effort I bought for when me muvva comes round but in this house, we like having our 'own' mug :o What would you do? Annoyingly I was only looking at the posh green ones
for 39p in the blue-&-yellow shop a couple of months back; tempted, thought about it, decided to be mse & only buy the excellent rubber gloves that I'd gone in there for --but a branch of that place is almost 2hrs drive away & really not worth the fuel just for a cup. Oh why do I live in the back of beyond

You lot are all utterly crazy and totally lovely!! Haven't been on here for a couple of days, have quickly read through about 10 pages with a smile on my face! Of course you're all invited to the wedding - crazy hats will be compulsorary for any NSDers (especially the boys), you've got to out-do my future mother-in-law in style :) Bonus points for charity shop/ebay finds!

Just a quick post top report that Monday was number 11 - I'm trying my hardest to get to an even number before I disappear up north this weekend though. Glad to see everyone is on good form and doing will, I'll be back to say bye before we go!
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....
