    Had a spend again today......

Having been meaning to buy some onions for the past month, so I can cook up some meals with the mince in the freezers, but keep forgetting them :o But I spotted some on Whoopsie in work today, so checked if there were any left as I finished and there were. So that was 29p for 1.5kg of onions. Seeing as I was already spending, I picked up some salad bits to do with omelette for tea tomorrow (already have the eggs), and then checked what else was on Whoopsie - netting myself 2 (small) punnets of raspberries for 25p each :T But of course this meant it was then more sensible to use today to replace the honey I finished at breakfast today and stock up on milk for DS, so I also nipped over the road to A!di. Not 100% sure of total spend (not added it to my spreadsheet yet), but it came to about £7 I think.

Means tomorrow and (hopefully) Friday should be NSDs - apart from filling the fuel tank in my car, but I don't count that as part of this challenge (yet) anyway. Don't yet know what OH is planning for Saturday, so no idea if I have any chance of keeping that as an NSD... but if I manage tomorrow and Friday that only leaves me 2 more to get in before the end of the month anyway :)

ETA: Plans for Saturday have all changed. DS chose to remind me an hour ago (a couple of hours after I told him I was going to be out all day Sat) that it's the Open Day at his first choice of Uni. Means I've got to drive up to Preston for that, and it runs 9:30-1:30. Phoned OH to let him know, and he'd been asked to fill a space on a hockey team on Sat and said he couldn't 'cos he already had plans...... So he's phoned the chap back and said he can play (they hadn't yet found anyone), then I'm going up to see him for the evening after he gets back - and sounds like we'll be going out to eat, so it will almost certainly be a spend day after all.

Definitely, but I don't think she can make it. Amanda's got to get back for her day job with Simon and Piers:rotfl:

Thanks all for the birthday wishes - i was sooo impressed with your smilies spoon!! :D

Keiss - thanks for the Ivy advice, i guess i knew all along hard work was the only answer  but there is no harm in hoping for a miracle cure!! Am thinking a pair of BigMumma's waders might be really good protection from the rashes???? What would the neighbours think????

I am pleased to report that today has been NSD 8 for me today, i've got some spending things lined up for the weekend ( again!!) & Monday (have to buy ingredients to make a leaving cake for a girl at work & some ingredients to make a couple of stews for the old guy up the road to have when he gets out of hospital; after his op), but thats it, so now i'm confident i can get to 10 before the end of the month (or maybe even 11????) :T:T
