littlewoods easy care insurance

I wrote to littlewoods to refund my easy care insurance premiums on the basis they were missold to me. when i purchased the policy i was led to believe i was just purchasing insurance on goods, payment protection was never once mentioned. they have replied saying that complaint not upheld as i accepted the insurance and upgraded many times. this makes no difference to me as not mentioning the payment protection is blatent misselling in my book. they also state that insurance was cancelled at my request on 6/3/2010. I cancelled over 2 years ago when i discovered the insurance to be ppi. anyway thats their final decision!!!. I have now today refered my complaint to fos so fingers crossed. Has anyone been successful in a claim against littlewoods? Helen xx

Sorry Littlewoods did not uphold in your favour, fingers crossed for you with this.

It will take a while with FOS but you'll get there in the end.

How did you cancel the PPI 2yrs ago, was it by phone or letter? if it was by phone then they should have a recording of the conversation.

i had a littlewoods cc upheld i remember it was with barclays however

i have a littlewoods cc claim in, it is barclays that are dealing with that one just sent questionaire back to them last week they are saying they need more time.this one is littlewoods catalogue just got my forms from fos today.

Some do request for more time, due to backlogs as well, hopefully they will get back to you with a positive result very soon, fingers crossed X;)
