How much is it compared to other houses in the area? You should offer what you think it's worth
How do you know that there hasn't been significant work or an extension since 2008? It may even have been that they bought thehouse very cheap from family or due to a repossession.0 -
repos dont show up on the land registry.0

We know there has been no structural work or extensions done on the property because the estate agent told us. The house is pretty much in the exact condition they bought it, apart from a new kitchen and painting the rooms to match their furniture etc.
We put our offer in last night - the estate agents didn't say much apart from they would pass it on to the vendors and we haven't heard anything since! I'm not sure if that's because they haven't been able to get hold of the vendors or whether they're thinking about the offer...time will tell!0
