Just when I thought life was getting better...

Hi Everyone.
I've lurked here for ages but this is my first post for a while. I entered an IVA in July 2005 but then negotiated a F&F which was paid and the final completion certificate dated 27th Jan.
So - a new start!
My partner and I moved from a rented house and bought our first home nearly 2 years ago - everything in his name as he has excellent credit.
Then Friday night he told me he wants to split.
I viewed an apartment to rent on Saturday and as I write they are doing all the references/checks. If I fail their credit check my ex has said he will be guarantor to the tenancy - well it's in his interests otherwise I'm unable to move out!
Forgive my ramblings but if you've read this far here's my question. Does anyone have any experience of Sky dealing with ex IVA people? I need telephone, broadband and Sky would be nice. As I'm now debt free I can afford it all - but will I be able to get it?
Also, are the utilities people OK - as far as I know it's NPower and Thames Water?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

I would have thought they'd all be fine about it. Especially the utilities people since legally somebody has got to supply you!Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
