Microsoft Word - Nightmare to indent & format

Does anybody else have a problem with Microsoft Word when they try to indent paragraphs, especially with Numbers or Bullet points?

Is there a tutorial anywhere which shows you how to get it right first time? I find it invariably seems to have a mind of its own and it's impossible to do simple formatting without it pre-deciding what it wants to do.

have you tried "Help" on the actual page? Thats what I normally do and can usually follow it.

I agree, it's very annoying:D However, you can stop it doing this. If you go to Options/AutoCorrect options/AutoFormat tab, you will see check boxes where it says automatic bulleted lists and automatic numbered lists. Uncheck both these boxes. These options are also under AutoFormat As You Type tab and should be removed on there as well.
