Do you know for sure that the prospects are good and in about a year you will be able to earn more.
Recruitment Consultants may tell you what you want to hear and bosses/interviewers may also be spinning a line.
When I moved jobs just over a year ago the consultant was going on about how much progression there is available.
Turned out there was no real movement upwards as no expansion was going on.
I dropped lucky that my immediate boss moved on to a better job elsewhere and I landed their role.

The job will be with the nhs I had done a course at a local hospital and at the end of the course the head off the dept were I did a placement asked if I would work for them which put a smile on my face . But I think that I will be doing that in september.
