when you are writing up your dissertation, what kind of sampling method are you going to say you used?

im having problem making one up for mine.
  • Completed. Nice survey. Good luck with your disseration :) (I did a survey for my dissertation and going through the results was a b*tch. Got me a 2:1 though :D )

because putting a link on a few websites is a flawed sampling technique.

I haven't written up my methodology yet but I guess it'll be convenience sampling. It's not ideal but you have to be honest and I'm going to explain my reasons for choosing it.

As long as you can justify why you have chosen your method, then say it. Don't just make stuff up so it sounds better.

Thanks so much. :) If anyone wants me to complete their dissertation survey in return of course I will, just post the link.

You could write mine for me! It's a literature review.

I'm kidding and you're very welcome - anything so I don't have to write MY dissertation!
