Hey everytime I sign onto msn I'm getting really weird email addresses trying to add me and they are basically webcam spammers. Where are they getting my add from? Is this happening to anyone else?

I've been getting these spam additions as well - they're really annoying!
I suspect it may have something to do with Facebook, so I set my email address only visible to me on the site.
Make sure you also make sure that the option in MSN Messenger to only allow messages etc from people on your contact list is ticked. Check to make sure you're not broadcasting a public profile either.
The email address is obviously being harvested from somewhere. I only hope that it's not on a list already making it too late to do anything about it. I've had the same email address for 10 years!

Spammers can add email address to their own contact lists without your approval.
That way they can spam you much like email spamming.
There is a messenger called Miranda messenger, its free. If you download and install this, put in your account details as per any messenger, it has an interesting feature in the Options section for the specific MSN account. It shows a list of people who have added you to their list (without your knowledge).
And you can block them from sending you any spam messages.
Alternatively, try to tell MSN but I would not bother.0 -
I get about 2-3 of these a day. I just block them and report as a spammer. Not much else you can do really."A nation of plenty so concerned with gain" - Isley Brothers - Harvest for the World0

We keep getting these too, quite annoying. They all have really odd email addresses though so they're easy to spot.£2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit

A lot of spammers just generate millions of random name combinations and try them, that way they build up a list of working addresses. They then trade their lists between them
Not really much you can do, just ignore them0
