Anyone having problems with Renault keycards.

Firstly, I want to say I've no connection with this company other than being a very satisfied customer.

I'd recently been having problems with the keycard for my Grand Scenic where I'd have to repeatedly press the buttons before it would unlock or lock. Then it just stopped working completely so I changed the battery but that didn't fix it. My other key worked fine so I knew it wasn't the car at fault.

Through reading renaultforums I saw keyrepair.co.uk had a lot of good reviews so thought for £25 I'd give it a go. I posted my key on Thursday and received it back this morning working fine. After reading about the amounts people pay for new keys I thought it was a bargain, and with Renaul's reliablility thought it would be worth sharing on here.

We also had very good service from keyrepair for my son's Renault Laguna

A key card does not seem a very good device - too vulnerable to damage?
