Hi I have XP and use BT Yahoo internet explorer.
For some reason I cannot fathom all my bookmarks have "disappeared" also when I select bookmarks the options are greyed out and I cannot add new ones.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks
David

Not sure if this will work-
To find and hide (or reveal) the folder for Favorites, right-click on Start and then select Explore. In the display this summons the heading for Documents and Settings. Scroll down until you find a folder with a star icon instead of the regular yellow folder icon. This is the Favorites folder. Give it a right-click and select Properties from the pop-up menu this creates.
In the tabbed box for Properties you will find a toggle box for Hidden. If checked uncheck it.
If not try doing a system restore to before this happened. Alan.Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0 -

What happens if you double click on the Favourites folder.?0

You can still get your bookmarks if you go to http://bookmarks.yahoo.com/ and login. You should be able to export them from there.
I think this is a fault at the BT end (your local bookmarks are apparently synced with the online ones).0 -
May be worth getting rid of yahoo toolbar altogether. It's one of the most notorious for messing things up!0
