my freezer does not freeze too good

hi, the freezer part of my fridge freezer does not freeze too well,things like icecream stay 3/4 frozen and i think it might be now getting worse.
does anyone have a clue what might be wrong as the fridge part is working fine.
it is a daewoo make and about 6 years old .thanks

hi just put your fridge name and what the prob is in the search bit of your comp then look through the sites that come up ( i just put in samsung fridge making a loud noise )into search engine and guess what came up this site !!! ive now followed some instuctions on here and taken the fridge to bits and hopefully fixed it so good luck you could start by searching the forums on here

It may need defrosting & cleaning up a bit - even if frostfree.

Hoover out all the back, including the metal mesh area.

Check the seals are closing & clean on the doors - slide a piece of paer between door/fridge, to see it's tight, as you pull it back out.

Has the temp control got a button that's pushed in/out for different settings?

does it have one or two compressors at the back?
or maybe the stat for the freezer has gone?
