Recaro young sport car seat

I bought a Recaro youg sport car seat 3 years ago for my son . This has been used daily with out any problems . He is now to big for the internal harnesses so you take them out and use the cars seat belt . When i was taking out the straps i noticed he central belt tension strap was vey frayed . Its just 1 section about 3 cm long by about 6mm wide . I contacted Recaro 3 weeks ago by email and they have not even contacted me . I am not after a new seat as my son does not need the harness and the seat will do him till he can just use car seats . Who do i contact next i just want to highlight my problem so others can check there seats incase they have the same unseen fraying .
