looking for scraps

Hi guys im looking to start buying wholesale car parts to ship out of uk. But im not sure what kind of prices i can expect to pay mainly i will be looking for mercedez and toyota parts in lots of aroud 60 engines (100k max), gearboxes panels and so on, car models to range from 1995-2003. also im intrested in getting mercedez lorry engines (400-700k) from 1996-2003 also, any idea on how much i should expect to be paing and any advice would be greatly welcomed:j

Sorry to be negative. How can you start selling something if you don't know how much it will cost to buy?

If you are buying in bulk then someone has to have gone to the trouble and expense to collect and break the appropriate cars. I would suspect to make this work you will need to pick up cars to break yourself.

Try buying breakers at auctions (but if you buy CAT B or A you need a special licence.) Alternatively you will need to trawl around the breakers yards and I imagine for this to work you will have to buy quite a lot of parts.

OP, if you are asking basic questions such as the one you have asked, you don't understand that part of the car industry well enough to even consider going into business. Sorry if that sounds brutal. Do you have a business plan?
