)Problems opening another page (help please)

My kids have got a Samsung r519 laptop from the home access programme which has internet protection & NetIntellingence installed. However they cannot open another page now no matter what link they click on. It was fine a few days ago. Is there anything I can sort out myself before I try to contact the helpline? TIA
