Laptop runs slow

My niece's laptop, a Dell Vostro 1000, runs slow. When booting up it seems to take forever to get to the stage where you can launch IE or Firefox. I downloaded HijackThis and am attaching the report it's generated. I'd appreciate it if one of you would have a scan through it and advise me if there's owt there that needs sorting out:

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

Thanks, I'm running the scan with Malwarbytes and will post the log when it's through.

I just had a look at the AntiVir scheduler and have adjusted it so that it should start updating at 10pm. So will see how that goes in a few minutes!

Ok, here's the Malwarebytes log (posted in four portions due to limits onhere), produced after deleting everything it found. Earlier on today I looked in the startup list and I noticed the following was set to run at startup: RegTool.exe - boot. I decided to disable this after Googling and establishing that it doesn't need to run at startup. The files that Malwarebytes has deleted look to be related to this file do you think?

Ok thanks. Was I right to disable the RegTool .exe in startup.ini?

Also, I still think it's tardy in starting up: takes it around 5 minutes before it will boot Firefox. Is there any advantage in me running CCleaner or some other registry cleaner do you think?
