urgent need of house account PC programme!!

Hi- Urgent plea- not sure if anyone can help but my husband recently renewed our norton antivirus and long and short of it is wiped out my money household accounts programme- it was a older version, the disc will not reload now so I in desperate need of something nice and easy I can do the household accounts on the PC ie incomings and outgoings, but don't really want to pay loads of money for a programme (if poss any!) I loved the older money programme and now god knows what my account is doing!!- I am not very tech minded so need smething easy- please help before my bank manager comes knocking!! ideas/ suggestions would be very gratyefully recieved!!
