Can anyone tell me where I could download a copy of Visual Basic 5 or 6. I have downloaded the 2005 Express Edition from Microsoft however I am working from a book which was designed to be used with 5 and 6 and the express edition is quite different from these. It would make it much easier for me if I could get a copy of 5 or 6.
Anyone know where I could download a copy?
Thanks

I don't think you can but if you look on ebay you should be able to buy a copy."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

You can't legally donwload it for free. But as VB.NET is now out, you should be able to get Version 6 for a reasonable price. The academic version is available for £40 if you qualify.0

If you want to learn VBE, you'd be better off getting a book for it. Plenty on Amazon, plus online learning e.g. http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vb/learning/0

The learning edition of VB6 (can't create executables) is included in this Sam's Teach Yourself book:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0672315335/202-1660071-2165429?v=glance&n=266239&s=gateway&v=glance
Cheaper in the Amazon marketplace.

Thanks very much for the help everyone. The book with the learning edition may just do the trick as I only need to learn VB to help get me through my alevel in computing so I will be able to access the full version of VB in school.0
