Recycling Bin Storage, can we get these in the UK?

Hi,

we were looking for storage for our bins and we found the below!

http://www.muelltonnenbox-kaufen.de/de/BINTO-Sets

Can we find anything like this in the UK? They don't deliver to here :(
I am after the ones with the aluminum on top to plant things.

Any help really appreciated! Been trawling the net for ages already.

Regards,
Egon
I wish Germany had a website like moneysavingexpert!

Not sure how hard they are to make.
Both OH and myself are not very good in DIY. :shhh:

We are really after the ones with the alu top to put plants in.
Might have to sign up for some courses to get what I want?

Don't know of anything similar over here - the only thing I can suggest is that some of the courier firms like DHL will import things for you - i.e. reverse delivery where you arrange it rather than the supplier. However at 375 Euros they aren't cheap before you start!

If you're after the ones with the planters on top, you'll either have to build them 18 inches higher than the bins themselves, or pull the bins out every time you want to put something in them.

I imagine that would get annoying pretty quickly. And at 18 inches to 2 foot higher than the bins themselves, I hope you're fairly tall to water the plants!

My hubby made a recycling box storage unit/holder thing out of some old single bed slats lol Looks great and holds 4 recycling boxes (2 on bottom, 2 of the top) and was painted cream with some old garden shades paint. It took him an afternoon to do but he said it was very easy. I am thinking of asking him to do a similar one out of some old pallets for the 2 wheelie bins :) He said it was very easy!
Wife to a great husband and mum to 4 fantastic kids 9,8,4,3 they drive me mad but I would do anything and give everything for my family :grinheart

im sorry but buying that product to hide recycle bins is like taking your range rover to the bottle bank.
far better to make one. and a lot cheaper to boot!

you dont have to use ally/steel for the top, plywood can do it too.
    Get some gorm.
  • I'm sure I saw something similar in Costco last summer. Not quite as nice looking but similar wooden clad design.

    They're certainly very pretty.

Have you thought about getting a local carpenter to give you some quotes for something similar?
