Hi all, would anyone be able to give me a rough idea on how much I should expect to pay to have someone come in & replace a carpet with wood laminate flooring.
The room is 4m squared approx
Any help would be great thanks

Laminate floor prices vary as much as the price of carpets do-basically you get what you pay for, a cheap floor will be mostly chipboard and a thin laminate layer, better ones will have a thicker layer of real wood. It wil also depend what your floor is made of (floorboards, concrete?) and what is necessary to prepare it for the laminate (insulation, damp proof membrane etc).
Remember that the installation cost will be the same for both, so not really worth skimping on the materials.
Go to any of the sheds and you can see the range of prices per sq m.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
