    In my HHC I've

Stripped DS's bed and loaded the WM with said bedding
    Put rubbish out
    Washed dishes

DH is just on his way to the tip with Gemma's kennel and the gate to her run - the fence will have to wait for now.

    Morning

I have been in touch with Sandy she has had her Chemo tablet, she is obviously worrying about side-effects......but I have been able to reassure her a little I think......she is now starting to worry about me using my energy up on her....so I see that as a positive breakthrough :D

I have told her everyone sends their love & prayers & she says thankyou :A

Sexymouse - glad the job has finally ended. With my HR hat on, now that you are out of there try and look back calmly - what are the positives - it got you qualified, you made some new friends and you know what to avoid in the future. How can you use the experience to make sure it doesn't happen again and so it doesn't put you off a job you know you are good at?
good advice as ever! My own would be don't be too hard on yourself, it will take a while to get over the experience of the nasty boss (it did with me when I left the last job) and I think if anything you're more sensitive than me. make sure you have a couple of weeks good rest and you will come back stronger and better. I guess it has shown you exactly what kind of teacher you don't want to be!!

Jue - so sorry about Gemma

I am enjoying some quiet time
before DH gets up and moans that he's bored  we don't really have plans for today but are going to see DH's bro & sil tomorrow, looking forward to that. We are lending them loads of our walking stuff as they're going on hols so need to get that together.

Thanks for joining me, Jue. I seem to be on 'go slow' today, but WM, DW and TD are all on, DS1 is fed and I've made a start with rubbish and recycling. I'm going to focus on the lists for the moment, rather than the thread, so I can make a bit more progress even with my current slow speed.

    Have a lovely Easter, everyone.

I expect AnW's mum and A and W have left, but I want to wish you all a lovely break with toots!

Toots - I am sure you will have a lovely time at your confirmation! I'll be thinking of you.

Mrs Chaos - There's a new Kathy Reichs book????!!!! That's it, you won't be seeing me back on here over Easter! Do you read Harlan Coben too? There's a new one out and I'm waiting patiently (very patiently) till my birthday...

sexymouse - Bet you feel washed out today... hex has excellent advice. I still don't know about the meet - the last term has been so busy and I'm shattered at the moment. I'll let you know.

I was a little late for the visualisation, but did join in. Brilliant light for me, focused then bursting out like a firework.

It's not raining, so in between working my way through a mountain of washing, I think I'll be gardening.

holly and pooh, so sorry to hear about your pets.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
  • Morning all. Wondering whether to start the painting today.

Toots are you getting confirmed? How fantastic!

Couldn't resist replying - hope I didn't get your hopes up in vain. Devil Bones is new to me, but I'm not quite sure when it came out. I just had a quick look at her website, though, and there is a new book called 206 Bones, which I didn't see in the shop when bought mine. I've not come across Harlan Coben, but will have a look out for his books. I'm scouting around for Elizabeth George and Diana Gabaldon at the moment, as I'm at least one book behind with each.

Sexy - well done on your last day. What an evil head saying you can't visit at all, ever. That's ridiculous! Is she going to take an injunction out on you? Or is she too embarassed about what you may say once you're no longer under her control? Fingers crossed for the supply stuff...
she's worried it will come back to haunt her, parents writing in, staff up in arms...good, let her worry!
