Did manage to catch rach's good news last week so massive congratulations to you - thought I caught some news about another of our flyladies being pg but she's not on the flybaby list - 1.gif

I thought so, too... (And it's not me!!!)

    Morning all

I spent last night sleeping/catching up with the last few pages of the thread and reading my new Kathy Reichs - just the thing for the start of the holiday. Too tired even for a drink.
It's back to business this morning to try and turn this hovel into something a bit more like a home. I'm aiming for the first HHC to start at 8.30, if anybody cares to join me. I've already told DS2 that the first two days are cleaning and tidying days, but we'll probably do some baking later or he may be able to play with his friend next door. Ok - breakfast first, then I'll make a start.

Greenbee - please pass my best wishes to Sandy if you get the opportunity. I tried to join the visualisation last night, but was too tired to focus for long. I'll have a go by myself later.

    Have a good day, everyone.

You'll have switched off now, but have a lovely time with Toots AnW'sMum!

Soappie, I read that thread - that poor man is definitely not right and should definitely see the Drs. Getting old is awful sometimes and for other posters to come on and joke is not on  (guess that's what the deleted post was for?). Very sad. Hope the OP can get her house sorted and back to normal.

Toots, before I forget, hope you really enjoy your confirmation on Sunday and how lovely to have your house guests! By the way, got another form of silence for the kids - put a DVD on. They saw Toy Story yesterday whilst I did my typing and were as quiet as could be!

I hope Sandy had a peaceful night last night. Some of your visualisations were really beautiful. Please send my love Greenbee.

Juliejim, sorry to hear about Gemma. Planting a little plant is a lovely idea xx

Sexy, your ex-Head sounds like a total idiot not letting you come back in. I help at DD's school sometimes and often previous teachers come in. You've definitely done the right thing finishing there and how fab that you've potentially got other work lined up already!!

DS just demanded his milk so just popped into the kitchen to a lovely present that the dog has left me on the kitchen floor. She's lying in her bed all curled up with her ears back looking anxious cos she knows she shouldn't have done it. Grrrrrrrrrrr!

This evening (if DD's tummy is fine) I'm taking her to see 'Dougie Dug Dug' who is a fun preacher who does fantastic kids services - lots of singing, dancing, joining in etc. We've seen his DVD and DD loved it. A group of kids and parents are going from Church so we're going too.

    Have a good day!

Thanks, Jue. I'll be a little bit late (DS2 had minor melt down), but will carry on to make up the time.

    Morning all,

Hugs JulieJim, i'm sorry to hear about Gemma.

Pigpen you've done it again, you've made me want to decorate. So i'm going to go and get some paint and stuff this morning and tackle the bathroom. It really needs it as it's currently shocking pink with a dark pink ceiling. It was like it when i moved in so i'm not taking the blame.

We picked up a lovely rocking chair last night from a freecycler. The legs are broken so OH is going to fix them and then it could do with painting but it's so pretty.

Plans for today are quick dailies, get dressed and go out and get the paint. I can go to the garden centre as well on the way.

I just typed a huge post and lost it so apologies if I have missed anything.

Firstly my thoughts are with Sandy and her family

Mrs Chaos, Kazm - You may be right about more pg flyladies but until people choose to announce it themselves on the thread we should ignore it!
Poohbear - huge, huge hugs for you over the loss of young cat - made me cry :o
AnW/Toots - hope you have a lovely weekend
Soappie - your menu sounds lovely - well balanced, etc. Good luck with the boning.

DS1 woke us up at 6am suitably over excited. Too cold and wet for our planned day out so we need to think of something else. He wants a shop cake not one of mine .

I left the lid off the propogator last night and some fat bottomed furry person has slept in it crushing the cucumbers and toms

ETA Sexymouse - glad the job has finally ended. With my HR hat on, now that you are out of there try and look back calmly - what are the positives - it got you qualified, you made some new friends and you know what to avoid in the future. How can you use the experience to make sure it doesn't happen again and so it doesn't put you off a job you know you are good at?

    Morning folks

Off to work in a bit, to attack the end of year accounts, p14's, vat etc, I reckon I should get most of it done today as the phone / customers won't be interupting me every 2 to 3 mins wanting something.!!

Those travelling away over Easter have a safe trip and come back safely.

    Sandy more hugs for you

Toots enjoy your Confimation day, (Saturday?) and your visitors.

    Catch up later xx
