Greenbee - nice garden!
Thank you to the other Toot's for catching post 3. Had a bit of a snappy evening. Message from DiL this afternoon was that she only wanted veg. DD said she didn't want anything. So I prep dinner quantities accordingly.
What happens? As I'm serving up, DiL says that oh, maybe she would like a bit of meat after all. And some veg. And some yorkshires. So she ends up with a full plated dinner. I'm just carving some meat onto my plate when out of the corner of my eye, I see DD snaffle a yorkshire, wolf down some leeks in cheese sauce and look at the roast potatoes with a beady eye. I snapped. Big time.
I did apologise later and DD and I have had a big hug and a talk. But it does hack me off. They either want all of the dinner, some of the dinner, or none at all. To change their minds when I'm about to serve up is not on!
There. That's off my chest.
This is a grumpy Soappie signing off and wishing you all a good night.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Evening all
Just popping my head through the door to say that I'll be in from Thursday afternoon, when we break up. Thanks to the terrific trio (quality quartet) for the thread, and to all who contribute.
I've been on a bit of a wild goose chase since yesterday afternoon. DS2 and I enjoyed our trip to costco, where he fell in love with 2-storey playhouses (too expensive and wrong shape). I then had a re-think of our garden. The three old/broken sheds/storage things at the bottom of the garden will be replaced by a playhouse (if I can find one of the right size and price) and we'll have a bigger shed in the back yard. It means loss of some patio space, but decent storage closer to where we need it. DS1 thinks it's a great scheme and DH is going along with it (in a fashion). I've spent hours on e-bay already and almost won an auction for a suitable house. I've also got a number for a company which deliver and install sheds/playhouses for a reasonable price. Need to find out if they do 2-storey and sheds that are bigger than 4x6.
I also managed to finally sort new tyres and I'm just catching up with some more laundry, as we spent the afternoon at a local garden centre with DH  who doesn't normally go anywhere near those places. Just window-shopping, though. DS2 and I will be taking a picknick there in the holidays, as there's lots to do for him.
OK, back to work now (I will not pass e-bay or google 'wendy house' - well, I'll try...).
Hope you all have a good week. Sandy - I'll be thinking of you in the morning, when we have a break around 11am.
