I'm also thinking about starting WeightWatchers again (hopefully without the pregnancy side effect this time...!) as I've got a little bit more weight to lose...and I've got a big birthday coming up in six months. Certainly don't want to be fat and forty - well, unless the aforementioned side-effect happens!

Well I'm going to be in about 8 months so we could be fat and forty together - and no I will not be pregnant!

Thinking of you Sandy and I'll be on the bus tomorrow.

Good Luck with the interview Helen.

AM in again and am thrilled to be part of a lovely gang of ladies. sandy you have some wonderful people on here who will all listen and support you as best we can, I have tears rolling down my face just reading the last bit of the thread and reading how the ladies are supporting you. huge hugs to you from me and mine, hope it goes as well as it can for you.:kisses3:

greenbee nice manageable sized garden, what sort of tree is it at the top? My new house's garden is of a similar length but wider and is just boring new house lawn which is like a bog in some areas:eek: have been putting wellies on to peg out the washing so have been out with a fork putting holes in the lawn, off to buy some sand and grit tomorrow. Hate to think what rubble may lie underneath if I take the grass up. hex any experience/ advice on what to do with this? The people at the top of my garden (it slopes up towards them) had a load of pea gravel by the sounds of it delivered last week to try to dry things up. They have a line of conifers which run along my fence and the ones near the boggy bit are much weaker looking and smaller too.

    Flying wise i have
    • been playing catch up from the weeks lists
    • folded 2 baskets of lovely smelling washing, one ready to be ironed tomorrow if weather is too cold to go to allotment
    • wm x 1
    • dw x 1
    • hoovered and mopped through downstairs
    • sorted through toys downstairs, chucked some and had a swap around with some from upstairs
    • put some toys away as both children have outgrown them- might start a cupboard for a car boot
    • tidied airing cupboard and tidied clothes away
    • s&s main bathroom
    • sorted dd's clothes and made a list for summer stuff she needs
    • been to mr a for more disinfectant, nappy cream and disposable nappies (dd has had dodgy nappies and threw up 3 times last night, Lakeland carpet cleaner is brill!) -couldn't believe how much a box of nappies cost me:eek: we must have saved a fortune with these ones, even though it makes 3 loads of washing I'm sure it's not that much.
    • booked mil to babysit next week twice so I can go for new bras on my own! and so that we can clear the garage on good friday (or good flyday as I am going to call it:rotfl:) There's talk of putting shelves up and everything:rotfl:
am currently sat on bum cross stitching and drinking g&t as I don't have to go to work tomorrow hee hee!

I've got 16 months to go until forty but could certainly join you then!!

Sandy - Hugs and prayers xx I'll be joining you tomorrow but maybe not on the elephant! Any objections to me bringing my class of 10 little darlings? They'll keep us busy if nothing else! Oh, and they'll be taking part in a New Age Kurling tournament at 11:10 if that's ok :rotfl:

Helen - good luck for tomorrow x

Hugs and prayers as always for L-L and Toots :A :A

    Ebay
    Sort Ds2's toys
    Sort paperwork
Get compost from garden centre ( i have a feeling the community garden centre is open tomorrow afternoon, it's only open 1 afternoon a week and you have to pay £2 membership a year to buy anything but it's very cheap and only down the end of the road. They know everything there is to know about gardening as well and last year gave me free seed potatoes )
    Repot leeks
    Finish weeding path
    Clear ironing basket
Move rabbit stuff to Wendy house, leaving a small amount in the utility room

It's probably a bit big for me really, but the proportions are nice. It'll look smaller when the new shed is in. Plan is to put a rotary washing line where the old shed is, assuming my neighbour actually takes the overgrown christmas tree in her garden down.

Tree in my garden is an apple tree with two clematis montana growing through it. The apples are disgusting, but it screens my garden from neighbours who are higher up the slope. Having said that, as the garden is south-facing, it needs a major prune or I won't get any sun this year.

I'm on clay soil, and have put a lot of sand and chicken poo into the soil in the past. The front is particularly boggy, and we put pea shingle down when we dug the nursery bed. Mulching with chipped bark also helps. Mind you, if it stops the conifers overpowering your garden, I'd leave it boggy :o)

Due to the ongoing work, I haven't used the washing line yet this year - it used to be over the path, so was fairly safe, but I can't walk on the grass when it's wet.

Clean laundry all put away. I'd planned on having a bath but CBA... think it's probably bed time!
