I sold a pc game called hidden expedition:amazon earlier in the year.
It was one I won in a competition, and I don't play games myself so I am totally clueless.
I have had the following message from the person I sold to - total gibberish to me, so I was wondering if anyone could translate/advise if it's easy to sort, or whether the disc is likely to be faulty.
I have no other information other than the below message.

" I bought 3 cd Jan?Feb 2010. I am having trouble installing Hidden Expedition Amazon, It keeps being blocked as there is a threat. As is goes through Big Fish would there be a code I could enter as when you download it if you have bought it you can enter a code to play. Could you please advise me what I should do. I have tried going throug my computer and loading from there and am still getting problesm. All the other games loaded ok, it is just this one I am having trouble with."

Any suggestions/ ideas as to what code they may be referring to or suggestions they could try to make it work? All I had was the sealed game, no other info.
Thanks
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

It looks like it's fine, it's more a support issue. He needs to get in contact with http://www.bigfishgames.com.
From what I got from that he's able to access the content on the disc, it's just getting it installed that's the issue. Perhaps he's running Windows 7 and it's just not compatible with it. There are literally dozens of things he could try, it's whether you want to waste your time helping him :j

Thanks - not so much whether I want to waste my time helping, more about avoiding refunding them if I don't need to!

Way I see it is your in the clear. Theyve bought it, so long as its legit then its not your fault that their software is blocking it

That said, 'bigfish' are known to use malware in some (possibly all) of their software. Whether this is relevant or not im unsure

I would say that same as buying a game in a shop - they will only usually refund/replace if the disk is found to be faulty (or is the wrong disk entirely). If its simply a case of incompatibility of game with their hardware, and software they are running on it, its their problem.
As for helping them out with the game, just explain that you have never installed the game, let alone played it
