gardeners 'help' What is this?

Saw some green stuff growing near the chicken run and just assumed it was sunflower (Yes, I know, never 'assume'; makes an '!!!' out of 'u' and 'me' )

Today, despite being a very squat plant for a sunflower, it's has flowered ( :j ??? ) I haven't planted anything and I haven't a clue what it is!

Anyone know?

It's too pretty for a weed and I have a sneaky suspicion it may even be a veggie of some kind - but I certainly haven't planted them!

As most people have said, it is a marrow/courgette/squash of some form or other.
Actually I got a bit confused by the whole thing, cos I found all the answers on the daily thread, but no pic!!!!!
Then came across the one that mentioned moving the original question!!

Yep, it's the same as the one I posted at the begining of this thread. Courgette/ pumpkin/ melon, squashy thing.
