Help with postage to Australia

I've just sold 3 things on ebay to the same buyer in Australia. I want to send an invoice so have parcelled up the items and weighed them (1070kg) and looked at the ebay postage calculator. Royal Mail's site say there is no available postage charges for my item and Parcel Force tell me is will cost £8,029.99!!!!!!!! to post based on weight and dimensions :rotfl:

I'm at a loss what to do now ... I don't normally post abroad. Can anyone help/suggest a site that will give me a reasonable quote to post.

The parcel measures 24 x 25 x 31 cm

Thanks in advance

Are you sure that they are 1070kg, and not 1.07kg? (If so, what are you selling, lead?)

yes i think if you dont confuse grammes with kilograms then the price will be easier to find ;)
  • you get 35kg baggage allowance on a quantas flight to sydney - fly them over yourself for less!! lol

i would break them up and send separately, also how you declare them changes the cost. ie. 'printed papers' cost more than 'small packet' even if they weigh the same.
It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'
