Anyone that has the misfortune to have a sycamore tree in their garden, will know only too well of the dirty sticky sap that drips off and pollutes everything it lands on, not to mention the floating seeds that grow everywhere. Decision made. Tree surgeon called today and we discussed all aspects of removing. He will just leave a stump and coat the top with something beginning with D, the name I can't remember and that will travel down to the roots and kill them and there will be no chance of side shoots/suckers etc. He's going to do two other things as well.
