Halifax Reward Overdraft charges

Hi I have a Halifax Reward a/c with an overdraft of £300. I very occasionally go into the overdraft but only a few days at a time. The reason for this post is that I haven't been charged any fees, yet. Does anyone know whether the fees are added on a monthly or quarterly basis?

Just to confirm is it the 'normal' reward account or the ultimate reward account you have ?0

hi
thanks for your reply, I have the 'normal' reward account.2010 Quidco Cashback = £255.000 -
Ok, well my understanding is that the fees would show on the statement for the period you went o/d then would be deducted in the next month.
The reason I asked if you had the ultimate reward a/c is that it is fee free for the first £3000 -
Thanks. That's what i thought but I haven't beeb charged at all. I always repay the o/d (which usually less than £100) each month. Could this be an oversight by halifax...abit worried in case a get a huge charge at some point in the future.2010 Quidco Cashback = £255.000

Did you transfer your current account to HBOS from a different bank, if so you get the first 120 days fee free according to the HBOS website.0

If you go overdrawn by less than £10 you don't get charged.
If you have exceeded £10 overdraft in January, then the charges should be applied on the 28th Feb.
If you have exceeded £10 overdraft in February, then the charges should be debited on the 31st March.
Charges due to be applied will be clearly stated on your statement.
If you spend 8 or more days a month overdrawn by between £10 and £300 then it's worth you changing the account to an Ultimate Reward. Even if it's fewer than 8 days, the other benefits of Ultimate Reward may make a change worthwhile to you.
Hope this helps.
(but check your statements!).0 -
hi
I had a basic account with Halifax, the upgraded to the Reward account, I've had the account since around November 2009, I've gone into my overdraft on most of the months by around £100.00 for about a week at a time.2010 Quidco Cashback = £255.000 -

I have checked my statements and no charges have been applied nor collected. I really am beginning to think this is an oversight by Halifax!!2010 Quidco Cashback = £255.000 -
