hehehe it was a nice well deserved lay in. i stay in bed till she wakes me up and she decided to lay in.

    terrible mother eh!

i called them and complained and was told under uk law they can call me anytime after 8am. they have noted on my records to call me after 9am in future should they need to.

I had to go round loads of HFC Bank branches a few years ago doing work for them as a sub contractor and was very surprised at their attitude and behaviour towards late payers.

I can recall many instances of them being rude, threatening and abrupt with customers in a way I wouldn't describe as being best practice in that sort of situation.

I was also very suprised at their talks of how many loans they needed to shift to meet their targets.

    I certainly wouldn't use them.

They`ve done that with my daughter, rang early, she answered and told them to ring back at normal time. I once went into local branch to deposit some money in her account, she was away at the time and was broke.I paid it in, she tried to draw it but could`nt, i traipsed back in only to be told that the money would only be in her account the next day cos they don`t work in `real time`!

  • HFC Bank have for the last 3-4 months been chasing me non-stop, leaving messages on my phone and sending letters to call them ASAP, despite paying them on time every month via DD. Everytime I did call them to ask what this was about they said the 'right lady was out, can you call back'. So yes 3-4 months later managed to speak to the 'right lady' and all it was was her trying to get me to have another loan with them: "Are you sure there's nothing you'd like to buy...?".

No wonder more and more people are struggling with loans they don't need. Chasing someone for 4 months to try and get them to take out a loan I repeatedly said I don't need. Disgraceful.
