Hi Guys
I've just joined Broadband and want to use wi-fi. I entered the security key and I was connected. Turned off laptop and went back later and it was still connected. Does that mean my neighbours can use my connection. Any ideas please

Only if you are using an unsecured connection. Have you specified a wireless key?
Your laptop will automatically store the connection details, so that you don't have to log on every time you use it.0 -
How I will I know if it is a specified wireless key. I turned on and was prompted for network security key which it said was WPA-PSK key situated on bottom of router. 10 Numbers long. Thankyoubingo_bango wrote: »Only if you are using an unsecured connection. Have you specified a wireless key?

Then it's secure.
But always a good idea to change the default key that is supplied with the router. No free lunch, and no free laptop
