Help... Weird response from Loot

I thought I'd post this query here as we are all buyers or sellers in a way.
I have advertised a brand new TV in on Loot.com and the ad has gone live online today and will appear in the local paper tomorrow.
I have had a couple of emails regarding it and just got this. What do you think????

Ignore it. It's an old, well-known scam.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Thankyou. I never usually use Loot so am unaware of this. I will reply with 'sorry this is a cash only sale'.

These people are not worth the courtesy of a reply. My TV is broken!

similar to the nigerian phone scam...... leave well alone.smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

These scams started with the small ads and cars, moved to ebay and it seems they are migrating back to the small ads again.

I agree - do not reply. You don't want to get into a dialogue with these people - just reading that one email gave me a headache. Yours is not the only ad they 'replied' to, so you will not be missed.:wall:0

I have had 4 more of those since this morning ... I hope I get better luck tomorrow when it goes in the papers.
