BnQ Self Adhesive underlay Vs Nailing the oak flooring?

which is th best method, to lay down oak flooring, on floorboards?
the oak flooring is from BnQ, and they reccomend the self adhesive underlay, i dont know if thats just simply because so they can sell it, or simply being honest.
Or is it better to secret nail them.
i am after the minimal movement over the years, and minimal gaps.
which is long lasting??

I would always secret nail with a second fix pasload
In the picture where the tape measure is you will notice that I have put 3mm hardboard over the original flooring this will help stop any movement.
Before fixing, make sure your boards have been in the house for a couple of weeks to aclimatise so they don't warp
Also, the boards come in varying lengths, make sure you don't end up with two ends next to each other, ideally, every "end" should be a minimum of 300mm apart.
Hope this helps

Nice pics plasterer....looks like a nice job!
Where abouts did you get your boards from?
What do you mean by " a second fix pasload"?
I'm guessing a victorian terrace based on the size and shape of the room!
