Thanks Spirit, thats the site I came across when I was looking.

I agree about the poster although sometimes its difficult to tell if they are spammers or genuinely disgruntled person who's come to vent their anger.

It comes across as a genuine post to me. There are always going to be a at least a few people who experience problems with any company, but there seem to be hardly any complaints on the Internet about Mereway. The fading could have been due to a factory fault, or it may have been a design fault. However, I would imagine that more people would have posted to complain here or elsewhere if it was a widespread problem.

There was also a poster a while ago who bought some units with doors which had integrated handles. Some water had been spilt and sat in the groove of the handle, which had seeped in and swollen the door. Unfortunately, she bought them very cheaply on ebay or somewhere, so there was no chance of claiming through the guarantee.

Those were the only 2 complaints I found about Mereway/Wentworth when I was researching which kitchen company to choose.

    Good info Madget, thanks!

I really like the looks of national kitchen - the all come with Blum soft close hinges, 19mm carcase and 10 years gurantee. I like the idea of multilaqured door as well. Only I've not heard much about them and they haven't got a show room so not too sure. Ofcourse if I can comfim they supply JL, than its a different story! (they say they supply the retail market but that can be anybondy!)

Thanks for clarifying that. I assume you have no showroom?? Still not sure about buying kitchen off the net without seeing it....

p.s. can you disclose which retailers you supply or would that be a trade secret?
