I won 2 tickets to a music festival

Hi folks, I have just won a competition that I posted on here from the Big Issue magazine.

By the looks of it it wasn't that popular. We're just deciding whether to go and leave the kids for the weekend or ebay them:) Either way, it's a bonus.

It's actually my first proper win. I've won a runners up prize before, but not a 1st prize:)

    lol @ joho.

I phoned the number on the tickets, and she confirmed that we have VIP tickets, which means access all areas, VIP bar (dunno if that means it's a free bar, or just that there won't be massive queues), car parking nearer to the event etc. Sounds quite good, so we've decided to go and abandon the kids. We could try ebaying them (the kids that is), but I'm not hopeful of a good return :rotfl:

Ooooh - well done you. :j I just found out yesterday I got a free ticket to leeds festival :D ....unfortunately I have to work in a bar for 5 hours a day, but I still get to see heaps of bands (I did the same thing at Glastonbury last year and it was great). I don't get paid (all my wages go to my chosen charity), but I get free entry, free beer :D:D:D , free food and....best of all....camping area with SHOWERS AND REAL TOILETS :T :T :T

Hope you enjoy Leeds festival, Snow Angel. Sounds like a good deal to get to see the bands.
There's nothing I would love more than to share a 2 man tent with the Dr (:kisses2: ), fluffynit, but unfortunately, I am going to have to settle for the wit and charm of MrH and his snoring
