shampoo:eek:
I'm running out of a number of items which I had bought before my DFW days such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel et al. I was looking at Boots.com last night for some offers and just couldn't believe I had been spending £6 on shampoo. What on earth has been happening? Why did I think before my DFW days that £6 was a great price for shampoo?
Sorry this is a bit of a moan this morning, if I had been more careful with my money and not been spending £6 on shampoo and other cr1p I wouldn't be in this position
Looking on the positive side
I did go through my wardrobe last night and am listing two pair of shoes and two tops on ebay this morning still with tags - oh dear what a total waste of money

I know it's not the *cheapest around*, but I reckon you can't beat Tresemme - it's about £1.99 a bottle, the bottles are LARGE and they are near enough always on BOGOF in Superdrug... one bottle lasts me about 4/5 months! I swear by their colour protect shampoo!0

Herbal essences is BOGOF in boots at the moment. Have also heard that the boots basic shampoo is very good.Barclaycard 3800

Are there any other items you can't believe you paid over the odds for before your DFW days?DFW Nerd no: 149

hello!
Do you use pigsback? I usually get one £10 boots voucher per month and then use it to buy the expensive shampoo and conditioner I like (on 3 for 2 and triple points weekends only though!). I use this only when I am going out at weekends (I love the smell!) as a treat, afterall the only people who see me during the week are work colleagues and they don't matter. Same with make up, I only use cheap and freebie stuff during the week (if at all) and then save my decent stuff for weekends. I must admit though when I started going out with my OH I used to put out all my expensive cosmetics on show, a couple of months later he asked me if I would stay at his flat, when I got there he had bought all the cosmetics I had out so that I wouldn't have to carry them between my place and his (hee hee, how little he knew!).Saving for an early retirement!0 -

I've got enough make-up to last me years, all expensive too. Maybe I'll get a trowel to put it on with. I've been selling cosmetics and toiletries at boot sales, some new, some used once, all for £1.00.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
