Just wondered if anyone out there has had the same or similar issue with their DW.
The DW is only 3 years old and week or so ago it stopped mid cycle, actually it tripped the MCB on the fuse box. Everytime we try to plug it in again the samething happens the MCB trips and all the sockets on floor don't work.
I called out an engineer, who checked the unit thoroughly and was stumped as to why this was happening. Initially,he thought it might be a burnt out 'suppressor' (apparently a common fault in Bosch DWs) but he said that it looked fine from the outside and hadn't got any signs being burnt out and couldn#t find anything else wrong with it either.
He has suggested replacing the suppressor, but did say that it wouldnt guarantee the machine would be fixed.:think::think:
Any ideas anyone...or should i just bite the bullet and buy a new dishwasher?

I had this due to worn out brushes on a washing machine motor, but never on a dishwasher (yet)0
