Static Caravan holiday park next to sea? South of England?

Hi all,

I wonder if you can help.

We have been rather spoilt having access to a static caravan in Cornwall which has direct access to a beach.

We are starting to struggle getting the children there all the time, long journey and now in school, we are going with the rest of the world and taking longer.

So my question is, are there any good static caravan parks around on the South Coast? Not Devon or Cornwall, just a bit too far away for a regular trip.

We are looking for a park that either has direct access to a beach, or just a short walk down a country lane.

There is a great one at WestBay on the Devon borders and the start of the Jurassic Coast line (16 miles of beach) the touriing and camping holiday is a short walk to beach and to Bridport town see : Park Dean Holidays. Recommend it.

There are loads in Bournemouth and Hampshire for camping and touring caravan holidays - too. Contact Shorefield Holidays they have about 3 touring sites.

If you wanted to try them out first then this Easter Weekend they have a special offer on Self Catering Accommodation, so you can leave your Caravan at home.

The one closest to the beach is Swanage Coastal Park, but they don't have the offer on - as this is self catering only.
