Hi guys
It seems First Direct have implemented the new message 'Mailbox'.
However so far I have been unable top open any messages and just keep getting the same error:
''Sorry we cannot action your request at the moment. Please try later or call us on 08 456 100 234. Alternatively, please select another option from the menu.''
Is this just me or is everyone having the same problems???

i've heard people say in other threads that if you get the 'sorry we cant action this' message a lot, its something to do with your browser settings....if you ring and speak to the IT team they take you through how to fix itDebts at LBM (May '08) £5760 - Lloyds CC £4260, Lloyds OD £1500;Debts as of May 28th 2011:Santander CC: £0.00Lloyds OD : £0.00DFW Nerd #1247 - Proudly dealt with my Debts

I get the same problem in 3 different browsers. To me it doesn't seem like a browser setting issue, although happy for someone to prove me wrong
Suggest you try again tomorrow or give them a call.0 -
Same problem here. I tried again a few hours later and it is now working fine :-) I suppose they must have been updating their systems.0

Now works for me too.0

All works fine for me. Nice to see they've updated the system, but the interface/type font etc actually looks worse than before
Shame, you can only keep messages for 3 months - I guess they are slowly catching up with other banks whos online banking is far superior.
