Does anyone know if it is only the apple store that allows you to put music on my ipod? is there another way of transferring music you already have?
Thanks x

I think you need Itunes to put the music onto the Ipod (might be other ways, but that's what we use) but Itunes also lets you import Cds or other music that's on your pc, and then you use itunes to put it onto Ipod.
This works for us, maybe someone else will come up with another way, but it's easy.

    It's only a game

    1.download itunes
2.sign in and register your ipod to your itunes account.
    3. Either let Itunes scan your hard drive for mp3s, or drag and drop from explora window to the itunes window marked Music at the top of the left hand list.
    4. Drag the tracks from your Itunes playlist to the ipod listed about middle of the left hand list.
Note WMA will play in itunes but wont copy to your ipod you need to convert or use only MP3 or ACC

    Two things:

    1. You don't need an iTunes Store account to use your iPod

    2. iTunes wil convert any unprotected WMA files to whatever your input format is set to when you import them to your iTunes library.
