Advice on sending a book to the Netherlands.

I've got my preferences set for UK bidders only but have had a query asking how much to post to the Netherlands. The book's only on for a few quid BIN, so not worth paying mega money for a trackable service. What do you folks suggest?
And if I decided to let them have it, will I need to change the preferences to let them do it. Plus anything else I need to be wary of as I've not sold abroad before.
Thanks

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

If the item isn't worth more than £39 then Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets service will be adequate (just ensure you retain proof of postage) I have sent quite a few items to the Netherlands and haven't had any problems. You will need to revise your listing so that the buyer can make the purchase as you have blocked buyers from outside the UK

    Thanks.
Is there still the £2.75 postage limit I have to keep to, if sending abroad, or can I charge more if I need to?
And how do I revise the price for the extra postage if it's over the £2.75 limit - can I send an invoice or is there another way of doing it. (Never done BIN before, so sorry for sounding thick.)

The P&P caps aren't applicable to items going outside the UK so you can charge what you need to. You need to revise your item and scroll down to International Postage (flat: same cost to all buyers) Select "Post to custom location" then select "Royal Mail Airmail (small packets)" and set your price, then tick the box for postage to European Union. You can exclude specific countries (I have mine to block Italy as the parcel loss is quite high in my experience!) Hope that helps, I'm rubbish at giving instructions!
