I know you shouldnt but has anyone bought things on credit knowing they will go bankrupt, I'm only asking as our television in our lounge has finally cracked up. It was 10 years old. If I got one on credit would I get a big slapped hand??
I dont want to commit fraud so just wondered what you guys thought?

If you know you are going to go bankrupt you should not use any mire creditHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
If you get more credit knowing that you cannot pay it back and will be going bankrupt I'd imagine that would be seen as fraud, and if the OR felt the same they could place a bankruptcy restrictions order on you at the very least.
Can you not just get a cheap tv not using credit, or get one off freecycle?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Try a wanted add on freecycle first, you may be supprised. if not do you have enough clutter in your house to do a carboot sale now the weathers warming up a bit.
Depends how far away you can stave off the Bankruptcy0 -

Hi there
I would think very caerfully about taking on more debt before BR. You would get into trouble with OR.

Try freecycle for a free one or local papers for a very cheap one. As people are moving to flat screens the older TVs which work perfectly have little to no resale value and you'll pick one up for either nothing or next to. Out of all the big electricals to break that's the easiest to replace at no cost.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
