Are you talking about travel to the resorts, or the cost of the holiday itself? Do you drive?

    Which Butlins?

By way of an example, your family of four can travel by boat and train to Butlins at Bognor Regis for £264.00 return. I randomly picked 31 March and 15 April.

Try your dates on the National Rail Enquiries website.

Yes travel and yes we do have a car. i dont know which butlins is easier to get to from northern ireland thats why i was cheekily asking. :)
  • I think I'd do Paris Disney if you can. I'm not sure Butlins is worth the expense of traveling from Northern Ireland.

We normally do Butlins when I book last minute and the price can drop to around 50%. I would never book up front and July at Butlins gets expensive.

We always go out of season in February or November. (not half term!)

None of the Butlins resorts are convenient for air travel. The best I can think of for Skegness is Belfast - East Midlands with Ryanair (currently £50 return each for July dates), then car or rail from there (another two hours). If you have a railcard the train would be £43 for the four of you.

If you can get a good price for Disney that would be more convenient. You could fly to CDG then take the TGV to the park.

we are going to disneyland paris this june. using our tesco vouchers so that paid for the ferry, then ferry from dover to dunkirk only £34.00 then staying on campsite 15 mins from disney at 90 euro for all 3 nights and then at another campsite near dunkirk for two nights on way back it is 60 euro for the two nights. Have petrol costs as well but all in all cheap holiday. now i just have to find cheap entry tickets and we are sorted!!!!!! both campsites have good swimming pools and activities for the kids, happy holiday hunting
