Removing a padlock

Hi
I have one of these....

and I have lost my one and only key to the padlock.
Can you get padlock keys cut??? if not, what is the best way of getting in with little damage, I think cutting will be difficult because being unable to hold the padlock still enough to make effective cuts into hardened steel - it would waggle too much when cutting. Any ideas anyone??

What model of padlock is it? many will succumb to a sharp tap with a hammer downwards, if you cannot get a clear swipe simply place a chisel on top of the padlock and hit the hell out of that. Most locksmiths will be able to get into it before you have even had a chance to ask them "one sugar or two?"Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

Problem is that the construction of the store is plastic and even though it is quite tough, it is not that strong to take blows on the lock as it will most likely break the hole that the padlock goes through0

What model of lock? Is drilling the barrel an option?
How about taking a dremel type thingy to the little bvgger?Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

A compact powerful portable hand tool with a variety of attachment making it many tools in one.Cutting, grinding, polishing, engraving, drilling etc.It falls short in the hammer department though.lol..0 -
A dremel might not be effective, but an angle grinder will cut through it in seconds.0

I bought a dremmel type kit from B&Q and promptly broke the lock, so out came the dremmel with cutting blade two minutes lock was off and I had to cut through both sides of the lock I was extremly impressed0

do you have access to a large screwdriver and an adjustable spanner at least 10" long?
hold the body of the lock with the adj' spanner, insert the screwdriver through the shackle part, now force the two apart to break the shackle through the side of the body, if that makes sense.
you should easily do this without causing any damage to anything else.
good luck. Please note, we've had to remove your signature because it was sh*te!0
