Green and Blacks definitely. And make it with full fat milk for extra creaminess. They do one called Maya GOld, which is dark chocolate/orange flavoured. That's even better.

The one from Lakeland is gorgeous - I bought it for my kids for a stocking filler, and its totally lush. But it is just really grated chocolate, sodo as others have said, buy some good chocolate and melt into hot milk.

Melted choc in creamy milk for me or this stuff which is basically grated chocolate. Not cheap mind but gorgeous.

Believe it or not, I find the Value hot chocolate is quite acceptable, though certainly not a luxury product it is cheap enough to have often. Goes quite fast as it recommends 5 heaped teaspoons with hot water - I use 3 very heaped tsp with hot water and a good glug of milk. Actually prefer it to the next cheapest Tesco hot choc, which is basically cocoa powder and sugar, and needs to be made with hot milk.

I could afford to have a more expensive hot choc a bit less often, but as the value one (and Sainsburys equivalent) is ok, I stick with that!

One of my DGS likes a hot drink at night but isn't mad keen on chocolate for some reason.I bought him a tin of Nestles Milo and he adores that.he is a funny little guy in that he won't eat butter/marg on his bread or rolls he will only eat them dry.In fact he won't eat any butters or spreads or cheese so his Mum was worried that as he isn't keen on fresh milk he wasn't getting enough calcium but his Milo seems to do the trick as he will have it made with milk and drinks it fine. It's only about £1.90 for a great big tin as well which is good. When he was a baby he suffered badly from eczema and very dry skin and I wonder if his own aversion to dairy type products has a connection to this at times.

I've got a jar of the Galaxy hot chocolate that you add water to. I always add a bit of milk to it to make it creamier but it is a really comforting, sweet drink when you need a choccy fix!!

A cadbury's flake dissolved in a mug of hot milk is really good.

Best bought one I have ever had (and almost as good as home made) is the Co-op's finest range one (better than G&B's IMHO), it is really luxurious.

Though I make my own by putting chocolate and milk in a pan and whisking, then add sugar if it was dark chocolate.
