DFS! Sofa Woes,

My sister in law brought a corner sofa, It was delivered she paid for it before they unloaded it, ...(I told her I wouldnt ever do that!):mad: Anyway sofa was fine except that when putting the separate units together to make the corner unit it soon became obvious that we were missing an end seat. DFS said it would be delayed as it was being made in China (probably by a small child) and was coming by ship.... well Slow Boat from China, Anyway it has been over 6 weeks and today she was told that it had been sat at the docks for three weeks! now its in the store...:beer: But if she wants it delivered by van it will be two weeks! but kindly a DFS staff member(Poor Women) has a 4x4 and is delivering it this evening at 6 for a second delivery charge, The words amature and Micky Mouse spring to mind, My sister in Law god love her is too forgiving and is going along with all this,
I am there later to help the lady unload the sofa and I am less then impressed by DFS ,
I noticed on the DFS site that they have small print saying they are not liable for any delivery difficulties or delays in providing goods but I dont feel that she should have to pay a second delivery charge when its the fault of the store that her paid for Sofa is incomplete, before I fight her corner later do you think she has a right to refuse to pay for the 2nd delivery or at least get some compensation for the huge unexpected wait,

I don't think she should pay a further delivery charge at all, it was their fault everything didn't arrive on the first delivery ~ cheeky sods!
