There was a big post on these forums recently about getting a free £5 breakfast if you had your milk delivered - some people on here thought they had got the deal of the century, they seemed to forget that doorstep deliveries are more expensive than the supermarkets!:cool:0 -
But you are aware you won't be able to use your car on the public highway or leave it parked on the public highway until you have the disc, so you'll be without a car for 3-5 days. There is the offence of failure to display a valid tax disc - it will not matter that your car is actually taxed, until the physical disc sits in your windscreen you will be committing an offence by the car being on a highway. I'm guessing the fine will be alot more than £5 should you get caught.0

That's not the point DCFC79 - I'll be taxed before the date don't worry. It's the principal - please refer to the name of this site - perhaps you are OK with paying more than you need to!

upto you op but be wary that there could be a fine involved0 -
How many people nationwide have renewed before the due date so paid more than they should have done?
And how many have renewed before the due date so paid LESS than they might have done?
My VED is also due lst April and in my case will reduce by £30 per annum - a saving well worth having. Annoying but I can't see a way round it except for taxing for 6 months which will save me a little.0
