Thanks so much for this. I have a 51 plate Punto and I have been gutted that I missed out on scrappage, so this is perfect for me to weigh up my options.

If anyone hears what the To Be Annouced offers are, then please post

Ford are cutting prices. They realise now (conveniently) that there prices had become too high over the last year.

  • Hi, I'd like to learn about this - my car has a gear problem - two different garages unsure of cause, basically stuck in low gear ratio, cant go above 10 mph! Can a car be used in a swappage scheme if its in that kind of condition. I need another car badly- have some mobility difficulties and live somewhere not greatly accessible by public transport. My car is essential! What to do with a broken Rover 45???

A " swappage scheme " is just market hype for part exchange, so yes almost any dealer will take your Rover 45 as part exchange, however they will take it's condition in to consideration when making a valuation.
